Had a therapeutic walk at the Swan River in Maylands before our afternoon tea.

Day 4

After breakfast, we went for coffee and shopped for a couple of hours at Watertown Brand Outlet.

Also made a trip to Angove Street Collective. all of us (except mom) purchased some items to bring home.

Dinner was with Sis’ friends and their family.

Dinner in an Italian restaurant – Siena’s of Leederville

We had converted the TV room into packing room.
Tough homework that night… to stuff all the shopping loots into our luggage.

Day 5

We had to check out at 10am. Too wasteful to throw away the leftover food (like bacon & bread) as it was not nice to leave them to the host.

Enjoyed our breakfast in the park… sunny yet cold

Next stop was Fremantle, it was only a 10-minute drive.

Started with a foot scrub in front of the sea

It was so therapeutic listening to the ocean waves while enjoying the 90-minute massage

Meanwhile, hubz was very well treated by the friendly staff.

The experience was an extremely pleasant one. It was definitely pricier than other massages in Batam. But with the level of services provided, it was still much cheaper than those provided by Singapore’s 4 to 5 stars hotels.

Montigo Spa, I will be back!

Getaway for 2018 Birthdays

Both of us are March babies and we wanted to go for a getaway to celebrate our birthdays. We decided on Montigo and it would be our second visit.

We had a nice time walking around and exploring the resort. It was much developed compared to our first visit in 2013 when it was only a few months after they opened.
